We intend to have a shore based tuning/tips session first thing on Sat. morning for all those that are interested. Stuart Jones and Myself will be there from 1000 onwards - breakfast will be available from the club.

Limited floor space overnight accommodation is available at both Stuart's and my house - please let us know if you need some, as it will be on a first come basis.

Club info:Datchet Water is a circular 475 acre sailing area, with a 3.2 mile boundary
and is 75 ft deep, similar size to Queen Mary. It is a raised reservoir
therefore has a relatively undisturbed air flow over it (ie. no trees/hills
to cause any surprise capsizes !). Launching is very safe and easy.
The water level is at its maximum which provides a massive sailing area.

The club has a fleet of 10 Contenders and a pedigree of holding some of the
biggest Inland events - 18ft skiffs, Symmetric Grand Prix, 420 Inlands etc.

Directions:M25 junction 15 (M4), then M4 junction 5(Datchet/Slough), at roundabout under M4 head for Horton/A4 London, at
weird roundabout past BP garage on left and Holiday Inn on right take exit
for Horton (you can see reservoir to your right through houses), follow
this road past another BP garage on a sharp right hand bend and the road
leads you round to the Reservoir entrance on your right (approx. 500m from
the BP garage).
