YachtsandYachting.com Contender Class Page
The International Contender was designed by Bob Miller in 1967 as a potential Olympic successor to the Finn dinghy. It is a single-handed trapeze dinghy that in many ways was ahead of it's time. Strict development of the class over the years has enabled the boat to be raced even in rough open sea conditions.
