Entry List for Worlds Tops 160

The entries for the Contender World Championship which starts this weekend in Medemblik, Holland, has topped 160. This is a record for the class, celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year.

Competitors are from all over the World: Australia, the USA and Canada, and from all over Europe, and confirms the class's position as the world's premier performance single handed dinghy.

Over recent years the class has grown considerably, with huge growth in fleet sizes in Denmark, Germany and Italy, and with a resurgence of interest in Australia and North America.  The UK fleet remains strong with over 50 boats at the UK Nationals in Looe in May.
